AUTISTIC BURNOUT

Learn to read the signs.
People who don't are inclined to put your behaviour down to laziness and bloody-mindedness.

Watch out for:
1) Little to no motivation;
2) Being emotionally overwhelmed or underwhelmed;
3) Amplified, intensified anxiety;
4) Irritability, as in being easily triggered (you can understand why social media, where far too many are either triggering others or falling for others' triggering, is a wretched place for autistic people);
5) Exhaustion;
6) Withdrawal (understanding that autistic people often need space to recharge).
